Sept. 4th is the last day of the show, and we'll be having a closing party that evening from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. There will be wine and snacks, there's no charge for admission, and the location is less than a block from 6th Street if you're headed downtown for frivolity on Saturday night. Come on down to party town, oh yes indeedy.In other news, I'm just about sold out of mugs, but have more on order, so look for those to be back in the nearish future. I'm also in the midst of working out the deets on a fun and exciting opportunity, about which I shall reveal more once the deal is done. It's at a new hotel this year, the Renaissance Hotel in the Arboretum (Austin, TX), so make sure you head to the right place. Hit up their website for more info.I have lots of new feeps, and this will also be the debut of my latest feep merch, feep buttons! I have six designs available for this first run. After the show, I'll put sets up for sale on Etsy for all you folks who can't make it. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 8/6/2010I had a grand old time at San Diego Comic Con, but there has been nary a moment of rest. Pretty much the instant I got back it was time to hang the ASG art show at The Hideout. The show features me as well as several other local artists, including Sam Hurt of Eyebeam fame and Kristin Hogan of LEOG and Dead Squirrel Girl. The Hideout show will be up until Sept. 4th, at which point we will have a closing party. And at the end of the month it will be time once more for ArmadilloCon (August 27-29). I did the Dallas show a couple of times, but it looks like they decided to make things more convenient for me and relocate the gig to Austin. I can't complain. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 7/19/2010I am on the verge of leaving for San Diego Comic Con, and have had the joy of being sick for the last week even as I try to prep like mad. I decided to err on the side of getting better rather than going all-out, because it turns out working a convention whilst ill is far less fun than it sounds. Will get to the printed shirts in a bit, but I wanted to prioritize fixing all the links on the website that had been pointing to eBay. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 3/7/2010I've begun the slow, laborious process of migrating the feep online store over to Etsy. Since there are a lot of listings to deal with this is going to take awhile, but I have at least put up the first round of brand-new feeps on Etsy. Thanks to all who came out and made it worth my while to stand outside in the cold and rain all weekend. And now, I have finally finished listing all the new feep stuff in the eBay store. All the shirts, mugs, and shot glasses I have in stock, as well as a handful of new glow-in-the-dark feeps. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 11/13/2009Exciting news in the land o' feep: first of all, I have confirmation on my next two shows, the Wheatsville Arts Festival (Dec. 5-6, 2009) and STAPLE! Independent Media Expo (March 6, 2010). These are both in Austin. Be sure to check out the Upcoming Events page for more details.Also: new feep items will be available soon, in time for Wheatsville if all goes well. I'm talking about new feep t-shirts (including two brand-new designs), ceramic mugs, and ceramic shot glasses. I am stupidly excited about these things, because I love utilitarian objects with monsters on them. The first batch I'm hoarding for the Wheatsville Arts Festival, but after that I'll put them for sale online so you can snag 'em if you're not near Austin. More info about that in a couple of weeks! Partially due to an intense amount of non-feep work, partially to have a chance to chill out and reset, avoid burn-out and whatnot. Also, I moved a month ago, and moves always tend to derail my creative activities. But! I do have a show coming up in a couple of weeks, ArmadilloCon, so I will indeed be working on new monstery goodness.I probably won't get around to putting up any new eBay listings until after the con, but I'll have new photos for the Daily Monster in due time. I did find some old photo shoot outtakes recently and have been posting those hither and thither, so if you haven't checked out the DM recently, mayhap you ought do so! My eyeballs are about to fall out of my head from staring at the screen for so long, so I'm only going to do a spot-check for uploading errors. If you find any bugs please do let me know about them so I can fix them.There's a ton of new content, so please take some time to look around. Some sections (especially stuff in the Extras area) I hope to add to sooner rather than later, but I'm opting to focus on getting this thing live instead of perfect. I know!
